EM Analysis Database

Hi,

Can't we use vavo type database generated by spectre to generate emir text reports by using emirutil.

how to create text reports for em analysis text reports directly with the vavo databse.

And also spectre doesn't support the spice or spectre netlist for emir analysis from command line. When i am using these netlists, spectre only creating vavo type database only. It is not possible to create emir0_bin type database with spectre or spice netlists

    Why the tool is not reporting the vias in the text-only based flow.  As you suggested i gone through the workshop provided in the installation directory, there also the tool is not reporting vias in the em report. Please see the messages below

    *WARN:EMIR-3*:cannot find the limit for net VDD in layer via1. EMIR analysis:max is skipped for resistor rs392 in layer via1.

    *WARN:EMIR-3*:cannot find the limit for net VDD in layer cont_ndiff. EMIR analysis:max is skipped for resistor rv441 in layer cont_ndiff.


    When I tried this in out test-case also the tool is reporting same for the vias.

    How to report all the metals and vias in the em report?
