About version changelog

Where exactly can I look for version change log history (comprising of all versions and changes with each new version) for gpdk045, MMSIM and assura ?

Each release typically has a What's New document (or more than one document) in the <instDir>/tools/bin/cdnshelp documentation, which outlines the major changes in that release.

    In addition, on

for each release or hotfix that's present there is a README.txt file with the list of CCRs that were fixed in that release or hotfix.

For the GPDK PDKs, I think (from memory) that there's a text file in the root of the PDK after it's been unpacked, or maybe a document in the doc/docs directory.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Oh, I am aware of that.I wanted more like changelog history.

For example - change log of all versions of MMSIM from version 7 through version 14 ; or changelog of all versions of gpdk045 from version 1 through version 4.

This was I can track what mistakes can be avoided and more importantly what are the features that I might be unaware of ?

The What's New is limited to only the version of product that I have installed !

Andrew, thanks for your replies, I guess that is helping to create an informal documentation to deal with everyday cadence and some unusual problems !

This certainly doesn't exist for any of the software releases - a 7 year catchup is not really feasible to maintain, and virtually none of our customers would ever make such a big jump.

We do keep on the support site the last couple of releases of documentation, but that's only MMSIM13.1 and MMSIM14.1.

For the gpdk045, I quickly downloaded it to take a look, and in the docs directory there is a file called RELEASE_NOTES which gives you a change history through all the versions. From the notes in there, the v2.0 that you are using I would estimate as being released a good 5 years ago.

    Regards,

    Andrew
