creating text cellview

In Cadence Virtuoso Platform, we can create an empty text cell view using any of following methods:

1) "File -> New -> Cell View" and then, choosing Tool as Text Editor to create text cellview.
or
2) ddId = ddGetObj("myLib" "myCell" "textview" "text.txt" nil "a")

I have an existing text file, which I want to turn into text cellview.  How can I associate an existing text file to empty text cell view
which I just created using either of method specified above.

One way, is to simply copy using "cp" command? Is this the only way?

Can I associate an existing text file to text cell view at the time of text cell view creation?

Thanks,
