Import Data to Cadence

Hello,

How can I import data file in to the cadence(.csv file)?

I am using Virtuoso spectre and I am doing transient analysis.

I am suppose to take input from matlab and that output file from matlab is generated in .csv file.

Thank you.

If you have a file with two columns, time and value, you could use a vsource or isource from analogLib with the type set to "pwl" and the input from the specified file, and generate a piece-wise-linear input that way.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

First of all, please read the Guidelines for the Custom IC Design Forum - you've posted in the middle of a 7 year old thread (which the guidelines ask you not to do), without any version information (again, read the guidelines).

However, I simply don't understand what you mean. This doesn't appear to be the same problem - what does a "vsource having a Gaussian distribution by varying the temperature" mean? I've no idea what you're asking for - so create a new post with clear details describing your objective, what you've tried and which software versions you're using.

    Regards,

    Andrew
