Import Data to Cadence

Hello,

How can I import data file in to the cadence(.csv file)?

I am using Virtuoso spectre and I am doing transient analysis.

I am suppose to take input from matlab and that output file from matlab is generated in .csv file.

Thank you.

    Hi Armin,

The file needs to be space separated, not comma-separated. Presumably you could edit the file.

If you want to just plot the measurements on top of your simulation results, use the getAsciiWave function in the calculator to read the file (this will cope with CSV). Then use Right Mouse->Allow Any Units over the x-axis and y-axis of your simulated phase noise graph, and then you'll be able to plot the getAsciiWave results on the same graph. This way you don't need to read the file into the simulation.

    Regards,

    Andrew
