IC615 PEX Issue

Hello everyone,

I just had a quick question regarding why this particular Calibre function is not working.

So Calibre DRC and LVS is working perfectly and there are no problems. However, for PEX, I'm getting this error where it is preventing PEX to run due to not being able to find "pre_reduction" file or directory.

Picture is as follows:

I did some analysis... and even searched that particular directory as I thought that maybe "cgi" file was missing in the /apps/cadence/ but that file is there and that wasn't the issue:

And then I also tried finding whether the output of PEX.SPI file was writing properly, and whether PEX report was generated, but none of them are working either so I feel like there is some issue there..

It leads to this error:

What could possibly be the reason why PEX is the only one that isn't working? Both DRC and LVS works perfectly, but for whatever the reason, PEX doesn't work at all..

Please let me know what kind of a direction I should take to fix this problem.

If I didn't give enough information, please let me know too and I will give that information ASAP.

Thank you very much for any kind of helps,

Sincerely,

    Hi,

Since Calibre is not a Cadence tool/product, you are better off asking your question to Mentor Graphics (whose product it is).  You might get a response here, but then again, you might be waiting a long time here for no answer.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
