Model Library Setup file

Hi Mr. Andrew,

i am new user  of cadence tool.  When i launched Virtuoso ADE L to run simulation using FinFET, I've been asked to setup global model files, which really i don't have and no idea how it looks like. i use hspiceD as simulator and NCSU freePDK45 libraries.

Would you please give me some clues to resolve this issue?

Thanks

Mahmoud

    Mahmoud,

This is something that the PDK would normally do for you - so maybe it isn't set up correctly? Perhaps you need to contact NCSU (I'm not familiar with the PDK because it's for academic purposes, and most of the customers or academic users I deal with don't use it) - so giving you advice on the PDK setup is not something I can really do.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
