Substrate extraction

Hello. I am designing a mm-wave LNA in TSMC65nm.  I don't know how to set up substrate extraction in Quantus QRC, which I need for accurate parasitics. I have checked "Substate extract" in setup, but it doesn't load the necessary files, it only says "undefined" (attachment). How do I set up this extraction?

Thanks

    Hello Rade,

The PDKs I worked with so far included the techfile. For example, the one I am currently working with, GPDK090, comes with an assura_tech.lib file inside. The name of this file should be in your PDKs installation manual.

One thing you can try is to cd to your PDK directory and look for .rul files, which are the files pointed by the techfile, with the command $ls -R | grep .rul

Another try is to verify if you PDK actually uses the name assura_tech.lib. Inside the directory, issue $find . -name assura_tech.lib

    Regards,
