Reliability data disabled from ADE XL results

I tried to do reliability simulation in ADE XL using spectre native. The simulation seems to be successful but no difference is shown between fresh and aged  results. furthermore, no reliability data can be associated with output results.

Can someone guide me to fix this issue?

Do you have reliability models? You need special models with aging information in them - these are never supplied as standard parts of a PDK in my experience, but are supplied separately from the foundry...

Actually, for the PDK I am using there are not supplied. but what about Cadence build-in aging models.? I tired to use my own NBTI model implemented through an URI shared library . even if it has passed uricheck and simulation completes successfully but I am not able to see any reliability data for the outputs results

Please contact customer support. This is going to be impossible to debug via the forums. In my experience with RelXpert you nearly always need to see the data.

Not sure what you mean by "Cadence built-in aging models". They only exist if you have the aging parameters in the models. Either way, customer support is the way to go here.

    Andrew.

    Hi,

I have contacted Europractice  as our link to Cadence support, I am still waiting for their reply.

I have tried the following : using the sample models provided by Cadence in $Relxpert /example/spectre/model instead of the PDK models, the reliability analysis works and reliability data are shown  for output results. But,  the problem persists when I instruct the simulator to use the URI lib Relxpert failed to generate the aged model  displaying the following error:

WARNING (SPECTRE-16775): Can not generate the aged model because the aged device is missing or all device age values are less than the minage value in Spectre native reliability analysis flow.

As I am using a URI lib and Agemos method , am I  still required to provide agemos parameter in fresh .model card.  is it not supposed the simulator generate the  aged model card from the URI when a URI lib is used?

    Regards,

    Amel.

    Amel,

There would still normally be an agemodel which would define the parameters for the URI aging model to use. You can see this in the examples in the installation: <MMSIMinstDIr>/tools/relxpert/uri/apiexamples (particularly in the test subdirectory).

Hopefully Europractice will respond soon - I spoke to one of the Europractice team a few weeks ago who said that they might need some assistance on a Relxpert issue (not sure if this was it or whether it was something else).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
