spectre captab does not show all nodes

itos

I have a simple diff pair under a submodule.

When I use captab, not all nodes are printed.

Interestingly (and very annoying at the same time) the important nodes are NOT printed, that is, the input node and the output node of the diff pair. The virtual ground node for example is included as well as all the nodes in the biasing networks.

I tried all settings for captab but no luck.

Besides, I am slightly confused of the difference between fixed and variable. Can someone give me a concrete example of them? (Please do not say ordinary caps because in that case I would not have any fixed entries because I have no explicit caps in my circuit).

Thanks!

I don't know why some things are missing - I would suggest you contact customer support as without seeing what you're doing, it's going to be pretty much impossible to guess.

The fixed capacitance is the linear capacitance, and the variable capacitance is the nonlinear capacitance (e.g. voltage dependent).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
