Batch run of ADE simulations using skill

Hi guys,

I would like to make a script to run a bunch of SPECTRE simulations which are set up in ADE, in sequence.

Simulation setups required, such as design variables, analysis, etc. are stored in "state" cell view.

The script looks like this:

--- run_ade

#!/bin/csh -f

virtuoso -replay ade_replay.il

--- ade_replay.il

sevStartSession()

o_session = asiGetCurrentSession()

asiLoadState(o_session ?name "spectre_state1" ?option 'cellview ?lib "myLib" ?cell "myCell")

asiNetlist(o_session)

session = sevSession(hiGetCurrentWindow())

sevNetlistAndRun(session)

sevQuit(session)

exit

The problem is, ADE session simply kills itself (according to the script, sevQuit) immediately after it launches the simulation, resulting in simulation error.

If I comment out the last two lines (sevQuit & exit) the simulation runs perfectly. But I want it to wait for the simulation end and quit automatically.

I guess a possible solution would be to monitor simulation status and delay but don't know how to do it.

Thanks,

pshan
