Auto Export of Trace

Hi,

Is it possible in ADE to export signals automatically for MATLAB, the same way I would do manually from "Visualization & Analysis XL", Trace, Export?

So far, I am always doing it manually but this keeps to be annoying; it would be great if it could be done automatically once the simulation has ended.

Thank you!

An easier approach is to read the data into MATLAB directly without the intermediate step of exporting.  The cds_srr() function is provided in <MMSIM_install>/tools/spectre/matlab for this purpose.  The following appnote has details for using this - http://support.cadence.com/wps/mypoc/cos?uri=deeplinkmin:DocumentViewer;src=wp;q=ApplicationNotes/Custom_IC_Design/MatlabAN.pdf - and similar information is available in the Spectre/RF MATLAB Toolbox section of the Spectre Circuit Simulator RF Analysis Theory manual (http://support.cadence.com/wps/PA_DocumentViewer/pubs//spectreRFTheory/spectreRFTheory14.1/chap1.html#1045386).

    Regards,

    TOM
