Link matlab to cadence

Hello,

I have one program in matlab to calculate the VTH degradation due to NBTI. And the degradation is dependent on frequency and duty cycle of the gate terminal inputs.

Which mean, for example, if I have 4 transistors for my circuit with different duty cycle and frequency, thus each has a unique VTH degradation.

My question: is it possible to link my matlab program such that it will be able to read the gate terminal inputs and calculate the VTH degradation for each transistor?

Thanks

Syafiq

    Syafiq,

Yes. Run <MMSIMinstDir>/tools/bin/cdnshelp and search for Matlab. You'll find information the spectre toolbox for Matlab which allows you to read simulation result data directly in Matlab.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
