Can run simulation in ADE but cannot run same one in Ocean(Solved).

Dear All:

I can run pss+pnoise successfully to simulate a simple voltage controlled oscillator(VCO) circuit in ADE. But when I save the script and re-load to run in CIW window, it shows below error:

*Error* ‘nil’ is not a valid simulator name.

*Error* asiSetDesignVarList: no applicable method for the class – list

*Error* load: error while loading file – “./test.ocn”

If I tried to load the script in Ocean environment in unix, the error message changes to below:

*Error* eval: undefined function – sevLibrary

*Error* load: error while loading file – “./test.ocn”

If I disable pss+pnoise analysis and enable transient analysis instead, then the script can be loaded and run both in ADE and Ocean environment.

Does anyone know the cause of this trouble?

My virtuoso version is: 5.10.41_USR5.90.69

Thank you very much.

I got answer from my senior colleague. This is an bug. If I change to spectre USR6 or higher, the ocean script can be run correctly. For your information.
