Simulation of extraced view fails, due to missing supply nets in netlist

Hi!

We have a INV under test and want to compare schematic vs. extracted. Schematic sim runs fine, but extraced simulation was showing totally wrong outputs. We found out, that the extraced netlist of the INV does not contain vdd and gnd terminals.

In the layout, all supply nets are drawn as pin with in/out direction. When we open the extracted view, those pins are missing but the underlying nets are propperly assigned to right the supply nets.

So our question is, why are the nets missing in the extracted simulation netlist?

Cheers,

Marten

    Hi Marten

Would you please provide the following info so that we can help to debug the problem?

    a. Version of LVS tool. E.g. "assura -W" or "pvs -version"

    b. Version of Quantus. "qrc -version"

    c. Version of Virtuoso. "virtuoso -W"

    d. Did you had LVS match?

    Best regards
