Cell is not taking variable parameters

RFStuff

Dear All,

I have created a cell and I added variable  parameters to it  by using ( pPar() ) in CDF.

The parameter variable Name and space for putting it s value is appearing in the CELL CDF list. But when I give it as a variable name say ("CLK_RST"), the variable name is NOT appearing on ADE's variable list.

Could anybody please tell what is the issue and how to fix it ?

Kind Regards,

A CDF parameter for a block must be a string parameter and have parseAsNum set to yes in the CDF (Tools->CDF->Edit CDF) for ADE to find design variables when you do Variables->Copy from CellView. You should check that you've done this.

You didn't give a great deal of information - so the above is only a wild guess. Also since it's several months after you posted this, I suspect it's rather too late for you - this is mainly to help anyone else who hits the same issue.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
