split function for ic 6.1.6 - bug(?)

i'm getting some sort of bug when i do a split command/function on a wire/path i want to jog. it shows it will split it, like what normally it would do but when i move it, it snaps back and did not split/jog the wire/path.

in some case what i'll do it cut the wire/path i want to split and then split the cut wire which works and then just merge them back.

i'm not sure if this is a know bug before, maybe someone can help or explain.

i'm using ic6.1.6.500.3

    Hi Imaneet

    I think you can try either of the following 2 suggestions and let us know if it resolves your problem:

    === Suggestion 1 ===
    a. Invoke split cmd
    b. Press F3 to display the options form
    c. Select "No wires and vias" for "Keep wires connected" option
    d. Does it resolve your problem?

    === Suggestion 2 ===
    Try IC616-500-13. Some bugs for split cmd has been fixed in IC616-500-5. It happens when split is executed on a wire near a via. You might be experiencing slight variations of the same bug on IC616-500-3.
