Change toolbar/title bar backgrounds?

Is there a way to customize the backgrounds for the toolbars and title bars in Virtuoso IC6 - specifically to remove color gradients?


I am running Cadence on a remote machine using VNC to connect to a Linux desktop. I can get dramatically improved performance if I run my VNC viewer (UltraVNC) in 256 color mode vs. full color. However, when I do this any color gradient in the display changes to stripes.


I figured out how to get a decent looking display for my Gnome desktop by setting the background to a solid color and choosing a theme which does not use gradients in the window title bars or controls. However, the toolbars and title bars inside Cadence windows do not seem to inherit these settings and continue to look pretty terrible:
