Hello,

I am facing similar issue as raised by Haniel. It is happened intermittent. Sometime I can run but sometime I can't. It is really annoying having this kind of situation. When running using ADE-L, no problem at all. Do you guys know is there any issue with ADE-XL??

    Hello,

Anyone knows how to solve this issue? I need to run monte carlo simulation urgently.

I keep trying and trying. but still the same.

From the log file, it shows:

\o ERROR (ADEXL-5051): The ADE XL remote process (ICRP) was unable to communicate with the host (GUI) session.

\o Message: ADEXL ICRP could not import the MPS service registered on the source machine, exiting

\o ADE XL uses the Cadence Message Passing Subsystem (MPS), a RPC system that communicates over TCP,

\o to communicate between the remote process and the source machine.  Ensure that TCP communication

\o is available between the source and remote machines.

When many attemps have been made, it will show GUI as what Haniel shows.

    yum groupinstall "Development Libraries"

You should contact customer support - this could be due to numerous issues in your machine setup and it needs more detailed diagnosis than is really feasible in a community forum. Also, customer support is the avenue for urgent support - these forums are just answered by members of the Cadence community (a few of us also work for Cadence) in our spare time.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
