EMIR Units

Hi,

I have doubt about units obtained in the report from EMIR simulator.

In the Power IR/EM user guide, the unit of current density limit is described as A/cm2 or mA/um for metal layers (width based).

What mean the current density unit be represented by mA/um?

    Thanks for the explanation. Please, I would like one more help. I was reading the Power IR/EM User Guide and it references the following manual:

    QRC Techgen Reference Manual. Please, could you send me this manual or give me a link to download?

    In page 119 we have the information: "Power IR/EM has its own methodology to perform average, peak, and RMS analyses". Could you send a file explaning the equations and more descriptions of this methodology.
