EMIR Units

Hi,

I have doubt about units obtained in the report from EMIR simulator.

In the Power IR/EM user guide, the unit of current density limit is described as A/cm2 or mA/um for metal layers (width based).

What mean the current density unit be represented by mA/um?

Regards,

Rafael

    Hi Rafael,

I'm not sure about the process for University users to get access to the customer support website.  However, you should be able to access the manuals directly from the tool installation.  You can do this by starting "cdnshelp".  If it does not already have the manual available in the list of products, you can open the library file by selecting File->Open->Library and browsing to <install_path>/doc/xmlreg/library.lbr.

    Regards,

    TOM
