Making ruler value more visible

So I know how to manipulate the ruler, I changed the thickness and colour using hlite drawing 4. But the values of the distances are too thin. Can I somehow make them thicker too?

When you create a ruler, you can hit F3 to bring up the options form, and there's options on there to make the font (and ruler) bold, and also change the font size:

These options can be controlled with these cdsenv vars:

    layout rulerFontSize cyclic "Small"
    layout rulerFontBold boolean nil

(the first has choices of "Small", "Medium", "Large", and the second is nil or t).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

I am using an older version of cadence. Can I do it using the Display resource editor?

No, because it is using the same packet for the text as well as the lines. Sorry!
