Porting layouts containing Fluid Guard Rings from IC 6.1.5 to IC 6.1.6

Hi, we just updated our virtuoso installation from IC6.1.5-64b.500.7 to IC 6.1.6.500.13.2. When opening layout done in the 6.1.5 version into the 6.1.6 version the fluid guard rings (FGR) are resized to some arbitrary value, so the layouts are broken. I read that to avoid the problem we should freeze the FGR in the previous version and then open it in the new version (I read that in the IC 6.1.7 documentation). The problem is that the freeze option doesn`t seem to be included in IC6.1.5. When I right-click on the guard ring, I have the usual option "Convert to Polygon, Chop, ..." but not "Freeze PCell". What are the option to port successfully layouts containing FGR from IC6.1.5 to IC6.1.6?

Also, is there a way to do it all at once for specific layout library containing FGR? Ideally, the advantage of using FGR would be preserved in the conversion process to enable easy modification of the layouts.
