LSSP Simulation with ADE

Hello all,

I'm having some trouble while trying to perform an LSSP Simulation with Virtuoso ADE. I'm using IC 6.1.5-64b.500.17. I've followed the guidelines shown on the "Spectre RF Workshop tutorial: PA Design using Spectre RF". I've set the properties and variables for both input and output ports (frequency, input impedance, input power, etc) and then configure the LSSP Wizard as stated in the document.

When I click on Netlist and run i get an error from the viewfile log window as:

Error found by spectre during circuit read-in.
    ERROR (SFE-874): "input.scs" 46: Unexpected end of line.
    ERROR (SFE-874): "input.scs" 56: Unexpected end of line

By opening the "input.scs" file of my simulation, I noticed that the definition of ports seems to be incomplete?

hbsim1 altergroup {
    PORT0 (net5 0) port r=50 dbm=P_in freq=freq1 fundname="FRF" type=sine    ///////////////// line 45
    PORT1 (net8 0) port r=50 num=
}

hbsim2 altergroup {
    PORT1 (net8 0) port r=50 dbm=P_in2 freq=freq2 fundname="FRF2" \
    type=sine
    PORT0 (net5 0) port r=50 num=
}

I tried to fill manually the missing parameters for PORT1 and PORT0 respectively in the file, but it didn't help out. Could anyone please explain what I am missing? If you need more info, I will be glad to provide it.

Many thanks for your replies.

Best regards,

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for the reply. I will check if we have the new MMSIM version and will see if the problem goes away.

    Best regards,

    Erick
