Where can I find expression/definition of beta/betaeff ?

I was analysing trade-off's between Vgs and beta, to my surprise it varies a lot. Generally we assume beta to be the product of eff. mobility and Cox but as Vgs increases it shows some variations. I referred documents but couldn't find the beta expression instead it is directly shown in output. Please help me out to find the definition of beta, its expression and the variation w.r.t Vgs.

Which model are you using? Which simulator? Which version of the tools? Please read the forum guidelines, as it's rather important to ask a well-framed question to stand any chance of getting a reasonable answer.
