Dual Oscillator + Mixer Simulation with PSS possible?

Hi together,

is it possible to simulate two oscillators in one pss simulation?

I have a setup where I mix two oscillators with a gilbert cell in one test bench and I want to get information from this about the mixed signal like phase noise, tuning characteristic, output power, harmonics etc.

The problem is, I can't get the pss to converge to the output signal, so of course the pnoise simulation of the output signal also fails.

Is there any application note, weblinks or literature about this topic?

Best regards.

No, it's not possible. That's why there's no app notes or literature on it!

The only way it's possible is if the oscillators are locked somehow (e.g. injection locked) to be an exact harmonic multiple of each other.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
