hi,

when i changing the simulator (in ADE L setup->choosing simulator)

i don't see the models.(in models library setup).

Would you please give me some clues to resolve this issue?

Some questions since you didn't give much background:

    • Are the models filled in when you start ADE (not from loading a state)?
    • Are they set for a particular simulator (e.g. spectre, if that's the default)?
    • What simulator are you changing it to?
    • Do the model definitions reappear when you change back to the default simulator (spectre)?

My guess (reading between the lines) is that you have a PDK or cdsenv setting which is defining the models for one simulator (e.g. spectre), but that's not happened for whatever other simulator you're switching to.

    Look at:

    envGetVal("spectre.envOpts" "modelFiles")

It might have been done using asiSetEnvOptionVal (some PDKs do that), but the envGetVal should return the settings. You can try the similar envGetVal for the other simulator you're using.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
