Problem with HSPICE Shooting Newton (SN) AC analysis in Cadence ADE

Hi.

For finding frequency response of a periodically driven circuit using SNAC analysis (of HSPICE-RF) in Cadence ADE, we need to use a periodic ac source in the schematic.

So, when I am trying to set the "SNAC magnitude" parameter of "vsin" source in schematic, it is not appearing in the generated netlist (as shown in attached screenshot).

Hence, the SNAC analysis is not giving proper output.

Please suggest what can be the problem that the voltage source parameter entered in schematic is not coming to the netlist?

Given that HSPICE is a tool from Synopsys (not Cadence), and you'd be using a Synopsys version of analogLib to do this (the Cadence-supplied version doesn't have a parameter called "SNAC magnitude"), and the netlisting is taken care of by the Synopsys HSPICE integration in ADE, this is really a question best asked on a Synopsys forum (I presume they have some kind of forums) or to Synopsys customer support.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.
