What is the difference between Id and Ids notation in result browser

Hello,

I simulated pMOS transistor in cadence, and I saw there are two type of currents Id and Ids.

May I know what are the differences?

Because these two currents sometime do not have same value.

Thanks

Syafiq

id is the resistive current through the drain. ids is the resistive current between the drain and the source. Since some of the current may flow through the bulk, they could be different.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
