Voltage out to next stage- cadence and verilogA

Hello ,

I have a magnetic device(undisclosed) similar to a Magnetic Tunnel Junction and I am trying to model it in verilogA and then running sims in Cadence. The device acts like a voltage controlled current source where basically we give in a voltage supply and at the output we get change in resistance thus current.

My question is how to take this change in resistance to drive the next stage(how to take voltage out of the MTJ). I have tried using a pull up transistor for that. Does anyone know of any other way to do that?

Now the second question is, should the behavior of the pull up transistor be incorporated in the model or do we always have to take care of the clocking externally in the circuit?

Thanks,

Nishtha
