ADE-XL: How to (efficiently) sweep parameters over a "Statistical Corner"

Hi all! I have a recurrent problem when debugging my Monte Carlo simulations. Usually I create a "Statistical Corner" for the problematic point(s), and then analyze if the situation improves when modifying some parameter. However, since ADE-XL doesn't support nested corner simulations, the only way I know for simulating the statistical corner for different values of my parameter(s) is to actually make copies of my test, each carrying a different value of the parameter, and then run the Statistical Corner over all those tests. This is problematic not only because of the time it takes to make the test copies, but more importantly because ADE-XL really bogs down when the number of tests increases (e.g. beyond 4-6 tests), to the point that sometimes it even becomes unusable!. Is there any other way I could sweep parameters over a "Statistical Corner"?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Cheers,

Jorge

    Hi Jorge,

Why can't you do a global variable sweep or a parameter sweep together with your statistical corners? That should work (I just double checked to be sure). The only limitation is that you can't do sweeps together with monte carlo (you have to use sweeps inside the corners themselves together with monte carlo currently).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
