ADEXL Warning for more than 100 runs

Hi All,

When i select multiple corners and variables to sweep, sometimes the total number of simulations exceeds 100. ADEXL gives a warning that the sweep you are about run contains more than 100 runs, do you want to continue. How can i disable this warning? Sometimes, after i click run, cadence is non-responsive for 10-15 minutes because of the large extracted netlist and after about 15 minutes, the warning message pops up. I would like to click run and not have to check back only to click ok to this warning.

I wanted to know if there is a way to disable this warning for a given ADEXL window.

Thanks!

Shayan

    Shayan,

    envSetVal("adexl.simulation" "warnWhenSimsExceed" 'int 100000)

    The default is 100.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Actually, the manual says (http://support.cadence.com/wps/mypoc/cos?uri=deeplinkmin:TechPubDocs;src=pubs;releaseName=;DocumentType=manuals;q=/adexl/adexlICADV12.2/appEnvVars.html#1123049):

    Valid Values:

Any number from 0 to 50000. If 0, the warning message will not be displayed irrespective of the number of simulations.

This suggests that you should set the value to zero in order to completely turn off this feature.
