text not displaying properly in cadence

Dear all,

I have a problem where some of the text in cadence is not displaying and very hard to see what's written there. Is there a command in Cadence that lists all the packages that it would require and finds out what's missing from your operating system?

I'm talking about the pop-up text. a little note popping up to teel you the function of a particular button on the ADE panel for instance.

I'm using Centos6.7;Cadence616;MMSIM14

Thank you,

Menghan Sun

    Hi Menghan,

You run it from the UNIX command line. I don't think it will help you though.

My guess is that you're missing this font RPM: xorg-x11-fonts-75dpi - your fonts appear to all be in Courier rather than Helvetica.

If this doesn't work, I suggest you contact customer support.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
