variable sweep in ADEXL

When i sweep one variable, I want to sweep a capacitor for instance, from 1p to 10p, in 1p step, and then from 10p to 100p, in 10p step. How can I put this in ADEXL

1p:1p:10p, 10p:10p:100p

I put both in there, but ADEXL only recognize two sweeping point. Is there a way to combine this two expressions in one sweep?

    I don't believe  you can use the shorthand (Matlab-like) form to do multiple sweeps. Instead, I'd suggest you use the "..." button next to the variable to enter multiple sweep specifications. This then allows you to enter:

    {From/To}Linear:1p:1p:10p{From/To}{From/To}Linear:20p:10p:100p{From/To}

    (note I generally would avoid having overlapping sweeps - at least in some versions that could cause duplicate simulations to be run - that's why I changed the second sweep to be from 20p to 100p in 10p steps).

    You don't have to type in the From/To stuff - if you use the ... form then this will be generated for you.

    Thanks Andrew! This works! Somehow when I use the "..." button, it will overwrite my first range and only keep the last range that I entered, so I had to manually copy paste one range. But this is good enough for me :)

    Presumably you didn't use the Add Specification dropdown on the form to add multiple entries. If you just change the existing setup then yes it will overwrite. If you use the Add Specification, you can add multiple sweep types together:

    yes, you are right. I added one range and hit "ok" then I did it again and it overwrites my first one. I did not know that I can add multiple sweeps here. I vaguely remember I saw somewhere that one can combine all sorts of sweeps in one sweep, but forgot the details. I think this is it. Thanks Andrew!
