Config view

Hello people,

I am trying to use the config view in order to run the extracted view of one circuit. I  have configured the config view and I have wrote the desired view for my testbench simulate.

Now the question is, there is any way to confirm that the extracted view is being used through the config view?

Many thanks.

    I'm confused as to what your problem is. Doesn't the hierarchy editor show you this?

    Or in the configured schematic, you can use the Launch->Plugins->Hierarchy Editor, and then you can use Hierarchy Editor->Show Views Found.

    Andrew.

    Sorry to confuse you. It's the first time I configure the extracted view this way. The other way that used to do was going to setup -> environment and then add there the extracted view. Now because I am using an external file I was looking for something that could tell me that in fact the extracted view is being used. For example, it could be (it is not, I know, but it's an example) in the netlist or something like that. Or at the beginning of the simulation, it could say at some point that the extracted view is being use. You know what I mean?

    The comments above each subckt in the netlist should tell you the view that is being netlisted... is that not enough?

    Given that the hierarchy editor can be used to configure all sorts of views (e.g. verilog-a views, multiple schematics, etc) there's nothing particularly special about an extracted view which would warrant it telling you specifically about this view over any other view - but it will report all the views that are used in the netlist...

    For example:

    // Library name: mylib
    // Cell name: twoinv
    // View name: av_extracted
    // Inherited view list: spectre cmos_sch cmos.sch schematic veriloga ahdl

    Andrew.
