Automate exporting ADE XL scalar outputs across History

Hi

I would like to "collate" results from different simulations done in ADE XL for logging and analysis purposes.

I tend to do it manually going to the History tab of the Data View, eventually RMB --> View Results, then once I have the scalar outputs from a certain run, click on the "save" icon and select a place for my output csv file.

I would like to introduce some degree of automation here, where I ideally select multiple entries from this History and do an ocnxlExportOutputView() on a series of results.

The selection process would be text/regexp based, not GUI oriented (as I think this would both be more involved and give less control).

Based on this, there would be other things I would like to export, like the netlist and the parrameter list/sweep. While I have no idea how to organize the former, I suppose the information on parameter list/sweeps is available in some setup file, the one that can be recalled when "loading setup to atcive".

Any pointers? I think we are talking about Ocean/SKILL scripting here :-)

I guess one could target specific files from the unix folder - kind of shell script-based - generate a list of target locations to feed to an OCEAN script which is responsible of opening specific psf or other type files and perform the translation. Or maybe there are specific SKILL/OCEAN functions acting on the .rdb and able to fetch the information I need, completely from within an OCEAN script?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Michele
