Edit Corner model file .lib - PSP103.3

Hello,

I am using a technology which uses PSP103.3 type as the model library. In order to perform corner simulations, I can in "corners setup" choose the "model files" to "design_wrapper.lib.scs" and then in each section choose if i want a "ff_pre" corner and so on...

Now, I want to simulate my circuit at the corner of "ff_pre" with a small modification of having one of the resistors which i used named as "opppcres" to vary by 2Sigma instead of 3Sigma in the model file over the "ff_pre" corner and everything else stay at having statistic variation over the 3sigma range! For that, i know i have to edit the "model library files". From "design_wrapper.lib.scs" i have tracked it down to see which file is the one setting this setting and i got to "passive_fixed_corner.lib.scs"! there i can set in different sections the value for "opppcres_fc" parameter to say how it should vary with "corner_sigma"! default is "corner_sigma/3"! I changed it to "corner_sigma/2"! which didnt did the right job after simulation.

Did i track down the parameter which i wanted right? Doing some simple reverse math i also concluded to have "corner_sigma/4.5"! to achieve "2sigma" but still not sure.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Best regards,
Hossein Ghafarian
