file sorting order in library manager

Hi there, I would like cells in the library manager of virtuoso to be ordered alphabetically case insensitive like in the following example : aaa, AAA, BBB, ccc. I tried to set something like "setenv LC_COLLATE en_US.UTF8" without success. Does anyone know how to fix that, please ?? thank you Olivier

There is no support for case-insensitive sort in the library manager, and I've not found any requests for such a feature either.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

thank you for your answer Andrew. It's a little disappointing, but what can I do...?
What is your personal policy about cell naming in order to avoid this issue ?? It's such a pain to have to search twice a cell because you don't know if it starts with upper or lower case...

Personally I have tended to stick to entirely lower case or entirely uppercase names, depending on the naming conventions in the organisation I was working in (sometimes those conventions were created by me too!).

If you really would like this sorting behaviour as an option, I would suggest contacting customer support in order to get an enhancement request against the library manager.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
