QRC Extraction

Layout passed DRC and LVS checks Using Assura.

I want to do post layout simulation and there I have this error showing up when I try to extract the layout

ERROR (LBMISC-215479): at "Techgen -trans": Connect layer 'net_nwell' from lvsfile is declared as stamped layer in p2lvsfile. Please check the p2lvsfile.

I have checked the p2lvsfile inside Assura folder and there is the first line that states "pro_layer=fox  ext_layer=net_nwell,net_psub  other_ext_layer=pnpvert10_c  stamp=1 ;". I changed stamp=1 to 0, 2 but it still showed same error when I ran Assura QRC again. I guess it is because p2lvsfile is rewritten for each run (since the value goes back to stamp=1).

Directions on what to do would be great.

It extracted when I changed Output dropdwon in QRC form, from Extracted to Lvs Extracted View. I really don't know if this will affect the results of the post layout simulation.

I use Cadence Virtuoso Layout Suite version IC6.1.6-64b

    Thank you Andrew.

    Problem resolved.

It gave me that error message because when I did Assura -> LVS Run, I did not select "resimulate_extracted" for Set Switches.
