layout XL - flag drawing touching blockage?

Is there a way (skill, layout XL, Assura DRC?) to flag in real-time if a metal drawing shape on level 0 or 1 of hierarchy depth touches a metal blockage of the same layer on level 1 of hierarchy?  e.g. if I copy a M1 drawing (level 0) to a new location and it now by accident touches a M1 blockage in an abstract (level 1), I would like a flag (X marker, etc) to be generated at the intersection of the M1 drawing and M1 blockage.   Layout XL with hierarchy depth set to >1 flags such errors but that takes a lot of memory, since it needs to extract the net connectivity down the hierarchy, when all I'm looking for is a simple check of "drawing touching blockage", without regard for net connectivity.

Any thoughts?  Thanks.

It could probably be done using iPVS (that's where you use a PVS rule deck for "DRD" editing). Normal DRD rules probably wouldn't support this because it requires a constraint between a blockage and a Layer-Purpose-Pair. Even with iPVS I'm not sure because you're dealing with a blockage object rather than a shape (without spending time trying it). So I suggest you contact customer support - it's an interesting idea and so we should look into a way to make this possible, if it's not already.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
