***** Assura terminated abnormally *****

Hi Cadence friends,

I am using LVS - Assura. I am with the following problems:

*Error*  strcat: argument #1 should be either a string or a symbol (type template = "S") - nil
*Error* load: error while loading file - "/.../AssuraLVS/bandgapReference_LVS.rsf" at line 13
*Error* load: error while loading file - "*loadstring*"
Errors exist in master control file "/.../AssuraLVS/bandgapReference_LVS.rsf".

Could you give me more information about these errors?

Rafael

OK, that's fairly clear then. Hopefully you'll have been able to figure it out too. You don't have the $T_DIR UNIX environment variable set before you start Assura - this appears to be expected to point to the root of your Design Kit (or something like that) - either way, check to see if there's a cadence/xc06/skill dir underneath the expected location and ensure that you've used:

    setenv T_DIR /the/path/to/the/kit

    or

    export T_DIR=/the/path/to/the/kit

depending on the shell you're using. I expect the documentation tells you to do this somewhere (the documentation for the kit/rules, that is).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
