Symbol line disappear in schematic view

happymos123

I got a special symbol and I tried to modify it.

I created line as symbol shape by symbol editor.

and also create Note->Text in the symbol editor.

The line and text can be seen in symbol editor

but

When I use the symbol in virtuoso schematic editor

all the line and text disappeared in schematic view, why and how to reset  ?

Thank you.

There's really not enough to go on here - I've no idea what version you're using, whether all lines in symbols are invisible or just your newly added ones (if it was everything, I could anticipate it might be a display.drf problem, but then I'd expect them to be invisible in the symbol editor too). I suggest you contact customer support, as I doubt this is going to be debuggable without seeing it - I've certainly not heard of such behaviour before.

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your kindly reply.
I found if I copy to different cell name, the line is normal and can be visible in schematic.
but if I change the cell name, it will not consistent with my spice model.

    Regards,
    JJ

I have no idea what could cause that. Another reason to contact customer support so that somebody can take a look.

    Regards,

    Andrew
