asimenv mappingMode

My .cdsenv has this set to "nmp".  Where can I find the description of values of this variable?  (Looking for a way to netlist bus pins as b_0 instead of b\<0\> in spectre).

(Also in general, is there a list of which documentation directory describes which .cdsenv variables?   e.g. envSetVal(“auCore.toolFilter” “toolList” ‘string "spectre”)  is described in $CDSINSTDIR/doc/anasimhelp - so one has to know a priori that anasimhelp describes auCore variables.)

Thanks.

mappingMode is currently only checked against the value "nmp". Actually anything else would do if you want the different behaviour - I usually would choose "oss" to give the earlier behaviour. There's an article on Cadence Online Support which covers this:

In general, the variables (when documented - mappingMode isn't, because in general it should not be necessary to set it) are in the section of the manuals related to the tools in question. You don't have to know apriori; you can search for "auCore" in cdnshelp and it would show you the relevant manuals (auCore is a historical grouping of core technology used across a number of the analog tools).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
