ADE-L Expressions

netbug
netbug over 8 years ago

Dear all,

I am running an AC simulation on ADE-L. Sometimes the phase starts at 0 deg, some other times at 180 deg. I would like the expressions to resolve that, so when calculating Phase/Gain Margins the result is meaningful.

I was wondering if it would be possible to implement something like an  "if" clause, in order to have different expressions according to the starting value of the phase.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Pedro

You could use the ternary operator. See for example http://support.cadence.com/wps/mypoc/cos?uri=deeplinkmin:ViewSolution;DocumentType=tbshtng;solutionNumber=11764448 which also includes a workaround for ADE-XL prior to IC617.

In this case, you can find the syntax at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%3F:
