Plotting Waveforms in ADEXL Generated from Monte Carlo Sampling

Hi All,

I am using Cadence Virtuoso version IC6.1.6-64b.500.6, and spectre version 14.1.0.896.isr16.

In ADEXL I am trying to run a DC test in spectre across MC and superimpose all of the plots to see the effect of process and mismatch on the static noise margin (SNM) of an SRAM bit cell.

The issue that I am having is figuring out how to plot these waveforms in the ADEXL window. I am able to run the analyses, but I get the following warning when trying to plot the output data.

WARNING (ADEXL-2707): Unable to plot/evaluate the selected outputs, sweep set selection failed.
_axlSelectResultItem(axlOutputsForm1->axlOutputsWidget1 "'( (3 11))")

Ultimately, I would like to get to the point of dumping all of the data into a .csv for pre-processing, but in the early stages I would like to be able to see output plots from my MC runs.

Thanks

    On the Monte Carlo options form (the gear icon to the right of the mode selection, i.e. where you choose Single Run Sweeps and Corners, or Monte Carlo etc), have you turned on the "Save Data to Allow Family Plots"? You need to do that to enable plotting of waveforms during Monte Carlo; by default it removes the intermediate results as it goes along to save disk space.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
