DRC check in Integrated PVS environment

Hi,

I want to check my DRC errors with the Integrated PVS environment.

How can I actually see where all of my DRC errors are? I can only see instant DRC errors as I draw (e.g. M1 spacing minimum). In other words, I would like to active the PVS Results Manager Brower so I can see an overview of what DRC errors I still need to fix.

This is first time trying the license so it can be we don't have everything installed correctly.

Thanks

I can add to my question above ...

Even within the "Annotation Browser" DRC/DFM Menu, I don't see any DRC errors even when I intentionally place a M1 spacing violation.

    Thanks,

    lowpower

    Matthew,

As this is an evaluation, and you're in my region, I asked one of my team to contact you about this (I've been travelling today) so hopefully that should help get the issue resolved.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Matthew,

As resolved over email, the issue was that no PVS snapshot had been defined and thus PVS did not run at all. In current version of the iPVS/VPVS the DRC rules to be checked are defined in a so called snapshot. You can define multiple snapshots to control which chekcs PVS is running and switch between them in the VPVS toolbar. You can define the snapshots using the options icon in the toolbar. The options form has "create snapshot" button. The snapshots can also be predefined by CAD support.

    Regards,

Isto (and Andrew), thanks for the help. iPVS is up and running now. So far so good.
