monteCarlo results in percent instead of absolute?

Is there a simple way with monteCarlo sims in ADE-XL to show the min/max/std dev expressed as a percent of the mean?  For example, take a very simple case of a test bench which measures the resistance of a 10k resistor, instead of min/mean/man/std_dev being:

7k/10k/13k/1k

I'd like to see

-30%/nom/+30%/10%

Ideally this would be based off of a nominal run but I'm happy enough with using the sample mean as my reference point.

I could do this as a real hack and have two instances of my DUT and compare one against the other (including the sqrt(2) factor) but that gives 2x the circuit to simulate.

Not as far as I know - seems a reasonable enhancement request though (so you should log a case with customer support...). There is a specific request (CCR 1462484) for adding median, but maybe the request should be for a way to add custom statistical calculation columns where you can specify how they're calculated? Or maybe that's too complicated and you just request precisely what you're asking for...

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Dan,

Turns out there's already CCR 882439 (with some duplicates) asking for the custom column calculation idea - some of the duplicates are asking for specific things (such as the difference between min and max) so I think your request would end up being a duplicate of that. I suggest you contact customer support.

    Regards,

    Andrew
