n-tones sine wave

Hi All

I have a rookie level question. I am trying to run a transient simulation and I need a "multi-tones sine input". Like Vin=A1*sin(w1*t)+A2*sin(w2*t)+A3*sin(w3*t).

I find Vsin but that only have one tone.

Can anyone tell me how to achieve a multi-tone sine signal?

Thanks

    Allen,

You might have been misled by the terminology on the vsource component. In reality you cannot have multiple arbitrary frequency sine waves generated. You can only have sine waves that are harmonic combinations of two frequencies (the frequencies you’d specify in the main sine frequency and the second sine frequency). In other words, all the other frequencies have to be integer combinations of the other two frequencies.

Unfortunately this is far from clear on the sine mode of vsource…

    Regards,

    Andrew.
