turn off pulldown selection in ICADV12.3 ?

Hi, is there a way to turn off the pulldown selection in ICADV12.3, which appears in several places (library manager, and also in create new instance form), .e.g in the attached image, for create instance of an analogLib res symbol, if I hit the Enter key, the lib field changes to the next lib in my library list, which is not desired,  instead of the desired behavior = "Hide" the form which was the default behavior in previous versions.  Thanks.

It doesn't do that for me. It hides the form (in some situations I have to hit enter twice - once to confirm the library name selection from the auto-complete, and once to hide the form). Which subversion of ICADV123 are you using?

I did a quick search and didn't spot any reports of this being fixed (I only have access to limited versions over the holidays so can't check the behaviour in lots of versions so easily).

Hi, it is sub-version ICADV12.3-64b.500.13. I tried ICADV12.3-64b.500.10, in gnome, in kde, same behavior.

So I assume there is no .cdsenv option to turn off those red/white down arrows on the lib/cell/view fields on the Edit Object Properties menu?

My workaround is just to hit Tab, then Enter, whenever I want to OK the form.

As far as I am aware, there is no way to change these combobox fields back into standard type-in fields (that would be potentially difficult, and probably doesn't make much sense provided they work properly).

I tried in ISR13 and the behaviour was OK for me (I had to hit enter twice sometimes). I didn't see it going to the next choice. I only tested with KDE.

If this is misbehaving, I suggest you contact customer support so that an AE can take a look.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
