What IC version are you using? To find out, in CIW do Help->About Virtuoso

    Regards,

    Hi,

What I see is that when creating a new adexl view then the env var works ok. So changing “specMarkers” to t/nil in CIW  I see the ‘Spec Markers' option is enabled/disabled accordingly.

Now in the ‘ADE XL Plotting/Printing Options’ if I change the 'Plotting Option' from None(default) to e.g Auto or Refresh then changing “specMarkers” to t/nil stops working.
I’d suggest you to file a ticket on customer support.
    Regards,
    Dimitra
